2025 is the year of detoxification – home, body, phone, relationships, and mind.
Which area will you start with?
It’s time to detox your entire life.
Detox Your Home
The average home is absolutely inundated with toxic chemicals lurking in household cleaning products, air fresheners, plastics, furniture, and clothes. These chemicals can disrupt your hormones, create inflammation within your body, and overburden your organs and systems.
People are now turning to natural, eco-friendly alternatives and are exploring ways to keep their homes (and other environments like offices and cars) cleaner and safer. Learn about my 10 essential home upgrades for a happier, healthier, more vibrant home.
Detox Your Body
A sluggish liver, digestive system, and/or completely overburdened, stagnant detoxification pathways can lead to a variety of unwanted health issues, such as gut issues, hormonal imbalances, persistent skin flare ups, weight gain, and low energy. The toxins we ingest and are exposed to on a daily basis can have a profound impact in the long term.
People are finally realizing the need to focus on detoxification – colon cleansing, liver cleansing, parasite cleansing, mold detoxification, heavy metal detoxification, and various other modalities – before focusing on optimization. This is the foundation of y work, but start by learning how to open up your detox pathways and why you should focus on detoxification before you focus on optimization. Join my next free detox masterclass on Friday, March 7 to learn more.
Detox Your Phone
Yes, your phone needs a detox too. So does mine. With constant notifications, badges, social media, and endless apps, our phones have become a major source of distraction.
People are starting to embrace digital detoxes—disconnecting for hours, days, or even weeks to reclaim their mental clarity and focus. Giving yourself time away from the screen isn’t just a trend; it’s a necessary practice for maintaining balance in today's world. I use an incredible app called Opal to block all social media apps for periods of time (it’s currently enabled daily from 8PM to 9AM). Use this link for 30 days free.
Detox Your Relationships
Yes, even your social circle can accumulate toxins—whether it’s negativity, gossip, judgment, criticism, or one-sided dynamics that drain your energy. Setting boundaries and distancing yourself from people who don’t support your growth and evolution is just as important as cleansing your body or your home environment.
By intentionally curating who you allow into your life, you create space for meaningful connections that uplift and empower you. This doesn’t mean cutting everyone off at the first sign of conflict, but rather evaluating which relationships fuel you—and which ones are holding you back. So, how do you do that? Simply ask yourself, Is this person expansive (energy giving) or contractive (energy taking)?
If you want to dig deeper into how you can align your thoughts, feelings, and actions with expansion, I highly recommend reading Bending Reality by Victoria Song. Victoria is one of the many coaches I’ve worked with over the years.
Detox Your Mind
Mental clutter is just as damaging as physical clutter. The constant stream of information, work demands, and societal pressures in the modern world can be very overwhelming.
People are turning towards mindfulness practices, journaling, breathwork, and meditation to clear mental fog, reduce stress, and regain focus, clarity, and productivity, and are also exploring therapy, coaching, psychedelic-assisted therapy, and retreats to free their minds of negative traumas, patterns, blocks, and fears in order to come back to their true essence.
I completed Hoffman Process and have worked with several transformational coaches over the past few years. If you want to learn more about my spiritual transformation and the modalities that helped me along my journey, read Part Four of My Journey Home To Myself. Also, don’t miss Part One, Part Two, or Part Three.
Again, 2025 is the year we go full force towards detoxification.
Detoxing our homes, bodies, phones, relationships, and minds is how we truly reclaim and optimize our health and vitality, and again, come back to our true essence.
