This is so true, I am currently on a microdosing protocol and feel like for the first time there is space to air out and process some deep grief and the lifetime of judgement against myself. there is so much wisdom and loving kind patience in plant medicine. the west seems to just get on something other cultures have known and practised for so long
Flower remedies has been a helpful modality for me - it is very much in line with the idea of unsuppressing and letting energy come to the surface to be released. They are still a little difficult for me to understand mechanistically, but it's just one of those things that I have intuitively trusted. Thanks for sharing your perspective!
I started using Alexis Smart flower remedies a few years ago at the same time that I became interested in the use of psychedelics for emotional healing. She describes flower remedies as 'vibrational', meaning they can support the harmonizing of our body with nature, and bring anything to the surface that is blocking this. Out of my own personal experimentation I started using her foundational formulas and they were profound, my dreams became more vivid, I was able to feel much more, and I felt more connected to my intuition. I think it's a process, like a spiral, so you have to be prepared for what can come to the surface for integration, but reading many of the reviews on the page can help get more context from others experiences (and she does a lot of Q&A saved stories on her IG). Worth checking out!
This makes so much sense to me and I can attest that psychedelics have helped me more with my mental health and healing than SSRIs ever have! I completely agree with pulling up the roots! I’ve a big fan of getting to the root of the problem and fixing it vs. slapping a bandaid on it which seems to be modern, Western medicine’s solution for everything 🙄
I have only done them in a casual setting, never in a therapeutic setting but I am very curious to explore that. I just don’t know where to find that sort of stuff, but I would love it if you could message me privately!
I think psychedelics could absolutely change the landscape of mental health!
