Thank you. 👏🏾How does this change with the woman’s perimenopausal phase, when there is no longer a bleed and a change in the bleed cycle?

Perimenopause doesn’t eliminate a woman’s cyclical nature...it changes how the cycle expresses itself. Even when bleeding becomes irregular or eventually stops, the female body is still influenced by shifting hormonal rhythms.

During perimenopause, estrogen and progesterone fluctuate more unpredictably, which can change energy levels, sleep patterns, mood, and cognitive clarity across the entire month.

So while the visible marker of the cycle (the bleed) may become inconsistent, the underlying biological and energetic rhythms don’t disappear overnight. Many women still notice phases of higher energy, creativity, social openness, followed by periods that call for more rest, reflection, and inward focus. This stage is actually viewed as a transition from reproductive cycling to a more stable, wisdom-oriented hormonal state once menopause is reached.

So, the difference between men and women still definitely exists, but it just evolves rather than disappears during perimenopause!!!
