I just hit the road for a 6-week solo camper van trip across America.
Just over a week ago, I finally did it—I left on a cross-country adventure that’s been calling me for years.
Here’s my route (through mid-October):
Wyoming (Jackson Hole, Wind River Range, Grand Teton, Yellowstone)
Colorado (Steamboat Springs, Aspen, Carbondale, Basalt, Crested Butte, Vail, Boulder, Rocky Mountains, Telluride, Ouray)
Utah (Flaming Gorge, Cedar Breaks, Moab, Canyonlands, Capitol Reef, Zion, Bryce, Antelope Canyon, Lake Powell, Grand Canyon)
Arizona (Page, Sedona)
California (Idyllwild)
(I’m definitely open to any recommendations, so comment below if you have any!)
I’m grateful to have Starlink with me, so I’ll be working from trailheads, lakesides, and campgrounds—writing, creating, and connecting in between sunrises and sunsets.
Here's the backstory:
I almost took this trip at the end of 2020, during my first spiritual awakening, right before I left a new venture capital job to pursue my passion for health & wellness.

But, I didn’t.
But, this summer—after a super intense, transformative detox immersion in Costa Rica and moving through another deep season of death and rebirth (which I’ll happily write more about soon)—the vision returned.
Strong.
So strong that I dreamed about it for consecutive nights in a row and daydreamed about it on my long solo hikes in Malibu.
And, this time, I listened.
I mapped out the high-level route with the help of ChatGPT (thank God for AI) and a friend who’s been living in a van for 10 years.
Then, I booked myself an incredible fully custom Sprinter through Outdoorsy—complete with a shower, kitchen, toilet, hot + cold water, AC + heat, and a queen bed (photos below).

Truthfully, I delayed posting about the trip because I was afraid of judgment.
Afraid of people thinking I was running away, not working hard enough, not “producing”.
But, what I realized is this: I was actually the one judging myself.
Even though I talk a lot about balance and wholeness, I still get caught up in hustle culture—the belief that we must constantly do in order to be “enough”.
The truth is: what I actually need right now is the complete opposite.
Slowness.
Stillness.
Presence.
A deeper connection with God, nature, and myself.
And, I know that true clarity will come through in that space of stillness.
I’m proud of myself for listening to my inner wisdom.
I’m proud of myself for moving through fear, doubt, and worry.
I’m proud of myself for tuning into my heart and my soul, not my intellect or my mind.
I’m proud of myself for trusting the unknown and surrendering to the flow of life.
I will always challenge what society deems “normal”.
I will always expand beyond the edges of comfort and certainty.
I will always walk the path that brings me closer to my soul.
And, just one week in—I already feel more liberated, alive, and free than I have in a long time.
So, I encourage you to do the same. What’s the adventure your heart has been calling you toward? Where is your soul asking you to slow down, tune in, and listen?
Life isn’t meant to be lived behind a desk—it’s meant to be lived fully, wildly, and free.
